Kaelene Curry (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Professional in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Tennessee, an affiliate professor at Regis University, and an AASP Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). She founded Mile High-Performance Consulting, LLC, where she offers mental performance and health services to athletes, performers, and professionals. With 15+ years of experience in collegiate athletics as a former DI athlete, DII and DI coach, and mental performance coach, Kaelene offers an informed perspective on high-performance landscapes, performance optimization, and mental health. Her background consists of becoming the first embedded role in collegiate football at Vanderbilt University as their Director of Mental Performance, clinical mental health services in various settings (i.e. Disordered Eating PHP program, private practice, university counseling center), and mental training with athletes and high-performers. Her approaches range from person-centered, brief-solution-focused, Systems Theory, ACT, DBT, psychophysiology, cognitive psychology, to Mindfulness-Based techniques. Her sub-specialties include but are not limited to attention and mindfulness, biometric coaching, resilience, nervous system training and self-regulation, to sleep and recovery for performance. Finally, her clients range from youth, collegiate, professional and olympic level athletes, to coaches, administrators, and sport officials/referees, and to high performers in other industries (i.e. first responders, corporate leaders, women's health).
