Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Monkey Mind platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Monkey Mind is a marketplace connecting athletes, parents, coaches, teams, executives, and organizations with vetted mental performance coaches, licensed therapists, and executive coaches. We facilitate discovery, booking, scheduling, and payment for mental health and performance services.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Provider Services

Providers on the Platform are independent professionals, not employees of Monkey Mind. We vet providers during onboarding but do not guarantee the quality, outcome, or suitability of any services provided. The relationship between a client and provider is independent of Monkey Mind.

5. Bookings & Cancellations

• Bookings are confirmed upon successful payment processing.
• Cancellation policy: cancellations made 24+ hours before the session receive a full refund; 12–24 hours before receive a 50% refund; less than 12 hours before receive no refund.
• Providers may cancel or reschedule sessions, in which case clients receive a full refund.

6. Payments & Fees

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Monkey Mind charges a platform fee on each transaction. Providers set their own rates. All prices are displayed in USD and charged at the time of booking.

7. Organizations

Organizations (teams, schools, companies) may create accounts to manage and fund sessions for their members. Organization administrators can view booking details (provider name, date, and status) but never have access to session notes, clinical content, or private communications between clients and providers.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, or credentials.
• Using the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
• Attempting to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or conduct transactions directly.
• Scraping, data mining, or using automated tools to access the Platform.

9. Intellectual Property

The Monkey Mind name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our written permission. Content you create (such as provider profiles or reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on the Platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

Monkey Mind is a marketplace and does not provide mental health or coaching services directly. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of services obtained through the Platform. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable federal and state laws of the United States.
