Jon Ostroff is a mental performance coach working with athletes from the youth to professional levels. A former Division I and professional baseball player, Jon pitched at George Mason University before continuing his career in independent baseball. His experiences included navigating performance anxiety, the yips, injuries, confidence challenges, and many of the pressures that come with competitive athletics. After earning his M.S. in Sport and Performance Psychology, Jon began working with universities and athletes to help strengthen the mental side of performance. His approach combines personal athletic experience with mental skills training to help athletes build confidence, improve focus, handle pressure, and perform more consistently in competition. Having experienced many sides of the athletic journey, from performing in front of thousands of people to being at the bottom of a depth chart and navigating the experience of being released, Jon connects naturally with athletes and the challenges they face. He emphasizes creating an environment where athletes feel comfortable being themselves while developing practical tools to grow both on and off the field.
