Certified Mental Performance Coach (CMPC) • Helping Athletes Navigate Pressure, Setbacks, & Injury
I’m Caitlin Beacom, founder of Altius Mind & Performance and a mental performance coach with a master’s degree in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology. I’m also pursuing my doctorate in Sport and Performance Psychology. As a former Division I lacrosse player who navigated two hip surgeries and medical retirement, I understand how deeply sport can shape your identity and how challenging it can be when things don’t go as you planned. I help athletes manage pressure, strengthen focus, respond to mistakes, and navigate injury and changes in their athletic careers. My approach draws on a mix of Humanistic and Acceptance Commitment Therapy principles, helping you take meaningful action even when doubt, nerves, or frustration show up. Together, we build practical skills that fit your sport, your goals, and your life. You don’t have to feel perfectly confident to compete as you are!
