Resetting your password
How to reset a forgotten password from the login page, change your password from settings, and what to do if you can't access your email.
Resetting your password
You can reset your password two ways: from the login page if you've forgotten it, or from your settings if you just want to change it.
If you've forgotten your password
- Go to the login page.
- Click Forgot password? below the password field.
- Enter the email address on your Monkey Mind account.
- Click Send reset link.
You'll get an email with a reset link. Click it, choose a new password, and you're back in. The link is valid for about an hour — if it expires, just request a new one.
What if the email doesn't arrive?
- Check your spam / junk folder. Reset emails come from
noreply@monkeymindathletes.com. - Wait a minute or two — it's usually fast but can take up to five minutes during busy periods.
- Double-check you entered the exact email you signed up with. For security reasons, we don't tell you whether an email exists on our system, so if you mistype you'll see the same success screen without actually receiving an email.
- If your email is hosted by a corporate IT department, it's possible they block automated email. Try from a personal account or ask them to whitelist our domain.
If you just want to change your password
You don't need to go through the "forgot password" flow if you know your current password.
- Go to Settings → Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password twice.
- Click Update password.
You'll stay logged in on this device. For extra security, you can click Log out everywhere else from Settings → Password to sign out any other browsers or devices.
Password requirements
- At least 8 characters.
- Not trivially common (we reject a list of the most-leaked passwords — "password123", "qwerty", etc.).
- No other complexity rules. Length beats complexity — a long passphrase is stronger than a short password with special characters.
If you're locked out entirely
If you can't access the email on your account (email provider dead, account compromised, etc.), contact support. We'll verify your identity through other means before making any change.
