How messaging works from the provider side — requests, inbox, and conversations.
Provider Messaging and Requests
Your Inbox
As a provider, your Messages page has three tabs:
- Requests — New message requests from clients who haven't messaged you before
- Unread — Accepted conversations with unread messages
- Messages — All active conversations
Message Requests
When a client messages you for the first time, it appears as a request:
- You'll see the client's name and their initial message
- Click Accept to open the conversation and start chatting
- Click Decline if you're not available to take on this client
Declined requests are removed from your inbox. The client is notified that you're not available for messaging.
Managing Conversations
- Use the search bar to find conversations by client name
- Archive conversations you no longer need in your main view
- Messages update in real time — no need to refresh the page
System Messages
Some messages are sent automatically by the platform:
- Booking confirmation details
- Session reminders
- Package offer notifications
These appear as system messages in the conversation thread.
