How messaging works from the provider side — requests, inbox, and conversations.

Your Inbox

As a provider, your Messages page has three tabs:

  • Requests — New message requests from clients who haven't messaged you before
  • Unread — Accepted conversations with unread messages
  • Messages — All active conversations

Message Requests

When a client messages you for the first time, it appears as a request:

  1. You'll see the client's name and their initial message
  2. Click Accept to open the conversation and start chatting
  3. Click Decline if you're not available to take on this client

Declined requests are removed from your inbox. The client is notified that you're not available for messaging.

Managing Conversations

  • Use the search bar to find conversations by client name
  • Archive conversations you no longer need in your main view
  • Messages update in real time — no need to refresh the page

System Messages

Some messages are sent automatically by the platform:

  • Booking confirmation details
  • Session reminders
  • Package offer notifications

These appear as system messages in the conversation thread.
