Partner Program: refer your audience and earn

For athletes and creators: how the Monkey Mind partner program works — how to join, how your referrals are tracked, what you earn, and when you get paid.

Partner program

If you have an audience of athletes and competitors, you can partner with Monkey Mind: share your link, and earn when someone you refer becomes a client.

Who it's for

Athletes, coaches, and creators whose followers care about performance, mindset, and wellbeing. If you post about training, competing, or the mental side of sport, your audience is who we want to reach. There's no minimum follower count — engagement matters more than size.

How to join

Head to our Partnerships page and choose Become a Partner. That takes you to our program on Impact — the independent partnership platform we use to run everything.

On Impact you'll:

  1. Apply to the program.
  2. Review and accept the partner agreement (this is where your commission terms are written down).
  3. Get your unique share link and a set of ready-to-post creatives.

You don't sign anything separately with Monkey Mind — your agreement lives entirely in Impact.

What you earn

It's negotiable. We offer either:

  • a flat fee for each referral, or
  • a percentage share of revenue

— whichever suits you better. We agree the terms with you when you join, based on your audience and reach, and they're written into your partner agreement on Impact.

When you get paid

You earn once the person you referred has actually had their first session.

That's an important detail, so to be clear about what does and doesn't count:

  • A click on your link — doesn't earn.
  • Someone signing up for an account — doesn't earn on its own.
  • Someone booking a session — not yet. A booking can still be cancelled or refunded before it happens.
  • Your referral completing their first sessionthis is what earns your commission.

Once that first session has taken place, your commission is recorded and paid out through Impact on the schedule set in your agreement. Impact also collects the tax details needed to pay you, so there's nothing to invoice or chase.

How tracking works

When someone clicks your share link, Impact records the click and links it back to you. If they then create an account and go on to have their first session, that's credited to you automatically — even if it happens a few days after they first clicked. The standard referral window is 30 days from the click.

A few practical notes:

  • First link wins. If someone has already clicked another partner's link, that partner keeps the credit.
  • Same device matters. Tracking follows the browser they clicked in, so if someone clicks on their phone and then signs up on a laptop, the referral may not connect.

Where to see your numbers

Everything lives in your Impact dashboard: clicks, sign-ups, sessions, conversion rate, what you've earned, and what's pending. It updates in real time, so you never have to wait on a monthly email or ask us for a report.

Disclosing the partnership

Please follow FTC guidelines and Instagram's branded-content rules — a clear "#ad", "paid partnership", or similar disclosure on any post that includes your link. Your partner agreement in Impact spells out the promotional do's and don'ts.

Common questions

Is this the same as joining as a coach or therapist? No. That's a different thing — see For Providers if you're a professional who wants to see clients on the platform. The partner program is for creators who want to promote Monkey Mind and earn a commission.

Where's my agreement / when exactly do I get paid? Both live in your Impact account. Impact handles the contract, the tax forms, and the payment.

What if my referral cancels their session? No commission is earned, because the session never happened. You earn once a referral actually completes their first session.

Who do I contact for help? For anything about your link, agreement, or payouts, start in your Impact dashboard. For anything else, contact us at contact@monkeymindathletes.com.
