Notifications and Alerts
Monkey Mind keeps you informed through in-app notifications and email alerts.
Types of Notifications
| Notification | When You Receive It |
|---|---|
| Booking Confirmed | When your session payment succeeds and the booking is confirmed |
| Booking Reminder | 24 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled session |
| Booking Cancelled | When you or the provider cancels a session |
| Session Completed | When the provider marks your session as done |
| New Message | When a provider sends you a message |
| Review Reminder | After a completed session, prompting you to leave feedback |
Viewing Notifications
Click the bell icon in the top-right corner to see your notifications. A badge shows the number of unread notifications.
The notifications page shows your full history with:
- Notification title and message
- Timestamp
- Click to navigate to the relevant page (e.g., clicking a booking notification takes you to that booking)
Managing Preferences
Go to Settings > Notifications to control which notifications you receive:
- Email notifications — Toggle email alerts on/off
- Booking reminders — Toggle session reminders
- Message notifications — Toggle alerts for new messages
Marking as Read
- Click a notification to mark it as read
- Use Mark All as Read to clear all unread notifications at once
