Creating an Organization
Organizations let teams, schools, and companies manage mental performance services for their members — with shared budgets, organization-level billing, and centralized member management.
Who should create an organization?
- Athletic directors managing mental performance for student-athletes
- Team managers providing coaching to a roster
- Company leaders offering executive coaching as a benefit
- Parents organizing group coaching for a youth sports team
How to get an organization set up
Organizations are created by the Monkey Mind team — it's a quick process, but right now it's not self-serve. To start:
- Contact support (the Contact Support button on the help center, or email our team).
- Tell us the organization name and roughly what you want it for (team, school, company, etc.).
- We'll set up the organization and make you the Owner — the highest-privileged role.
- You'll receive an email confirming the organization is live.
Usually you'll have a working organization the same business day.
What you can do as the Owner
Once your organization is live, you can from Settings → Organizations:
- Invite members — by email, or by sharing a public join link.
- Set up budgets — allocate a monthly (or other period) spending cap, either organization-wide or per-member.
- Load the wallet — deposit funds so members can book sessions paid for by the organization.
- Review join requests — if you use a public link, incoming requests need your approval before they take effect.
- Assign roles — promote trusted members to Admin or Manager to share the load.
Your role
As the creator you're the Owner. Owners have full administrative access to the organization and cannot be removed from it. You can add additional Admins — who have everything the Owner has except the ability to delete the organization — and Managers who can run budgets and members but not change core settings.
