Setting Your Availability

How to set your weekly schedule, date overrides, and scheduling rules.

Setting Your Availability

Go to Settings > Booking & Availability to manage when clients can book with you.

Weekly Schedule

Set your recurring availability for each day of the week:

  1. Select a day (Monday through Sunday)
  2. Add time slots (e.g., 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
  3. Mark each slot as online, in-person, or both
  4. Repeat for each day you're available

You can have multiple slots per day (e.g., morning and afternoon blocks with a lunch break).

Session start times

Clients are offered start times every 30 minutes within your available hours — 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, and so on — whatever the session length. Sessions shorter than 30 minutes are offered even more often (a 15-minute intro call can start at 9:00, 9:15, 9:30…).

Once a session is booked, any start times that would overlap it disappear automatically, along with any buffer time you've set.

Date Overrides

Override your regular schedule for specific dates:

  • Block a day — Mark a date as unavailable (vacation, holiday, personal day)
  • Custom hours — Set special hours for a specific date that differ from your weekly schedule

Scheduling Rules

Configure booking constraints:

  • Minimum Booking Notice — How far in advance clients must book (e.g., 24 hours). Prevents last-minute bookings.
  • Buffer Time — Minutes between sessions for breaks (e.g., 15 minutes). Prevents back-to-back bookings.
  • Maximum Advance Booking — How far out clients can book (e.g., 60 days). Prevents bookings too far in the future.

External Calendar Integration

Connect your Google Calendar or Calendly to:

  • Sync busy times — Events from your external calendar automatically block those times from bookings, preventing double-scheduling
  • Auto-generate Google Meet links — When connected to Google Calendar, each confirmed booking automatically gets a unique Google Meet video link

The Google account you connect does not need to match your Monkey Mind login email. When Google's sign-in screen appears, pick whichever Google account holds the calendar you actually use — it can be a completely different email address. Changing your Monkey Mind email later won't affect the connection.

"Google hasn't verified this app" warning

While Monkey Mind's Google verification is still in review, Google may show a warning screen titled "Google hasn't verified this app" when you connect your calendar. This is expected — the app requesting access is Monkey Mind's own calendar connection, and you can safely continue:

  1. On the warning screen, click Advanced (the small link near the bottom-left).
  2. Click Go to monkeymindathletes.com (unsafe) — Google labels every app still in its review queue this way.
  3. Continue and allow the calendar permissions.
  4. Leave every checkbox ticked on the permissions screen. Google lets you untick individual permissions, and unticking the calendar one breaks the connection in a sneaky way: availability sync still works, so everything looks connected, but we can't add sessions or Meet links to the calendar. The connect flow now refuses a connection with a box unticked and tells the provider to redo it — if a provider reports that message, this is what it means.

You'll only see this screen the first time you connect a Google account. If you'd rather not proceed past it, contact support and we'll help you get connected.

Timezone

Your availability is stored in your timezone. Clients see available slots converted to their own timezone automatically.
